Purchasing Styles: Because Moroccan Imports are handmade as One-of-a-Kind pieces, we sell the following wholesale products in styles, ie in pieces varying in detail.  Our prices are less than other Moroccan wholesalers because Hanane, who is Berber, works out great deals with others in her tribe for quality Moroccan imports and gifts.

 

Make an Offer: Our prices are already low.  But should you, for instance, want a half or full container of tea tray tables, then, it is reasonable to expect a reduced price for this sort of quantity per unit purchased.  Also, should you be able to show me the URL of an item sold by our competition for a better price than ours?  I will do whatever I can to meet or beat this competitive price if possible.

Shipping: Once you make your purchase, we give you CSR (Combined Shipping Rates) based on the total shipping weight.*  Large orders are inexpensive from Morocco, once they are beyond 2 kilos.  Because of the various methods asked for in shipping depending on the number of units shipped, as well as shipping options asked for by our clients, we cannot place a shipping calculation in the cart itself. 

 

We send most orders out through Moroccan Post; this method takes about three weeks.  Larger orders we typically send air freight through a Transitor; delivery time is 3-5 days.  Your order is sent by jet to your city and must be picked up at the airport.  Also, should you prefer international carriers like EMS, Chronopost or FedEx, that is fine.

A Word about the Quality of our Necklaces

 

Jewelry plays an important role in the social life of Moroccan women. The silver and copper alloy pendant jewelry, along with such as the beautifully handcrafted Berber hamsas often with Spanish and Arab influences, are reminiscent of the jewelry of medieval Andalusia. 

Most of the beadwork is made from stone, wood, ceramic, coral, luban, tree resine (resina) and metal.  The metals in our beads like the pendants (unless made of sterling silver), are a mixture of silver and copper alloys to keep them shiny.  Plastic beads are allowed in necklaces only when other minerals are used, so long as they have a good, hard sheen to them (making it difficult to tell whether or not they are ceramic) and fit the overall style of the necklace. 

Moroccan artisans are not rich people.  They work with whatever they have on hand to work with.  What distinguishes their work from most jewelry makers throughout the world, is their incredible sense of design.

Teapots are handmade, so details in design may vary slightly while the overall shape and size is constant.

The cheaper tea pot as the 'Simple Fes' tea pot is not dipped into a better quality, silver or gold colored metal.  The next Pot - Classic Fes - is made with superior workmanship: a brass tea pot that is dipped into the silver metal.  It is very strong and durable.  So far we have no retailers asking for tea pots plated in real silver as these pots begin wholesale at around $50.00 each.  Most retailers ask for Simple Fes type pots as the turn-over is fast.  The Classic Fes is for those who desire to see their customers pay a little more for a better quality tea pot that is durable but not expensive as gold or silver plated pieces.
